Minimum Stake Threshold

The minimum stake amount on Story is 1024 $IP, mostly preventing small spam stakes to validators. This doesn’t pose a problem for whales, but small retail users may not have enough $IP to even stake. Verio fixes this problem with a shared staking pool. Users can stake as little as 0.1 $IP, the $IP will sit in this shared pending pool, and Verio will stake the entire pool to validators when it reaches 1024. This enables small retail users to also participate in this staking system, further protecting and securing the network. Note that users will still receive $vIP immediately upon staking.

Conclusion

With the minimum stake threshold of 1024 $IP (around couple thousand bucks with 1B $IP supply), retail users' only option is to stake with Verio in order to earn yield on their assets.
